Evident

Being able to join the karmic dots and understanding patterns as hindsight is often very painful. We see conflicting relationships compounding under egos and increasing distances over a long period of time, coming to a head at the end of our lives. We have evidently not understood and corrected ourselves while there was time.

Life is not a party! The remorse and guilt that overpowers you for ill-treating your people while YOUR going was good, you will realize over time, was a completely misplaced sense of what life was all about.

I have seen people leaving this world with so much remorse and I have seen those left behind living lifelong under the weight of what they COULD have done differently but will never get a chance to anymore towards the person who has gone.

WHY? What is not to understand and not to get on? Why do we judge instead of love? Why do we distance instead of understand and respect everyone’s life journeys, especially their challenges??? Especially when we know WE expect this from others? So much can be salvaged if we learn and change with this one thought.

Can we perhaps slow down, reflect and correct ourselves while there is time???

Perspective

The mantra for life, I have discovered, is “that was THEN, this is NOW”. If we reflect on our thoughts, how much of our thinking patterns come from past experiences? A maximum percentage, I would imagine. We judge people from past experiences.

Our relationships, more often than not, are dictated by the past experiences too. Our trust factor also comes with time, again only from the past. Our behavior stems from early conditioning. Our guilt comes from what we did wrong earlier. Our lack of forgiveness is because someone has hurt us and that becomes a negative past memory. So, the past, which is really a ghost, rules over us even though it has passed.

It is incredible that we still won’t let go. Irrational that we won’t give our present a chance. The more we read about living in the NOW, the less we actually do. The past has occupied so much space within us

Popularly said, “nowhere” can be changed with a new perspective, “NOW HERE”. But our mind is here and there all the time. Never in the NOW.

Awaken, people, to what we are doing to ourselves during our life here! Improving every moment in the present, trying to clean each such moment is the only thing we can do.

As we clean, and declutter, we create new spaces to attract the energy which can change our lives and bring in what we call miracles”.

Communication

It is important to know when to communicate but more important to know when not to communicate. We all go through phases when we do things out of good intentions but offend some sensibilities. Fair enough. This happens sometimes to us also and then we are left to deal with our feelings like others deal with theirs.
But in all of this, when one tries to smoothen the ruffled feathers, not once but many times and there is no response, it is time to withdraw communication.
Holding on is not healthy but some people can’t let go easily. They have to work out their feelings and their relationship on their own. More so, the intentions of others may take time. It is all a part of the drama. But important to understand that this is not about us or who we are.

Spiritual Health

It is important to train yourself to understand that YOUR life and your spiritual health is THE single most important thing or at least, should be, for you. You have to and must keep your focus on your well being and this should certainly not depend on someone else whoever it may be.
If you notice, the moment you stop taking the words or actions of others seriously and stop applying them to yourself, you begin to feel your energies lightening. Many must have experienced this. The heaviness leaves you. You can think more clearly and resume your own activities with a new vigor.
There is much to be said about taking things with a big pinch of salt.
