Evaluation

How can anyone else but the person concerned evaluate the impact of personal experiences? The emotional impact, maybe a shock element or a feeling of being let down, expectations unfulfilled … anything. We should know we are all different. But we still judge apples and oranges together, knowing their characteristics to be different from each other.

So, we can evaluate only ourselves. Actually, we are capable of judging only by our standards, many of which may not apply to the people you are attempting to evaluate.

The moment you want to remark about another, stop! Think instead of why they disturb you enough to talk about them. It’s not them. It is you. If we don’t want to know their story, we can respectfully leave them alone to continue their journey. There are enough and more challenges in it, more than we ever will know.

Cleansing

Whatever you recognize in others is present in you. So, always look within and see how much is reflected within you. This is the simplest way of self-assessment and way towards personal cleansing.

There is a reason why it is said that when you point a finger outwards, three-point back at you.

Each time you judge others, you are actually judging yourself. Each time you criticize someone, you are actually aware of that very element within you.

If you hurt someone, it comes back to you….

All this is due to our connectivity with everything. We are all reflections of each other. This awareness can accelerate our cleansing manifold.

It is all so simple but we complicate it!

Evolution

It is the ego that judges people. And it is our self esteem quotient that become critical , both of ourselves and others. We tend to judge others by what we don’t like within ourselves because there is a resonance between the two. It is almost like you dislike someone because they , in some way, show you what you lack. A mirror effect. And you don’t want to go there. Is denial the answer , is the question .

This is how we block our own evolution. The ego denies and falsifies evidence right before us. And we hurry away from truthful realisations. Does not solve anything though. In fact, compounds the issue , because now, we are trying to bury it deep inside. But it is going to trigger repercussions some time.

To step out of an uncomfortable darkness, the door needs to be opened to let the light in AND to move forward. And only WE can open that door.

Judge

The problem in relationships is that we judge our intentions but judge only the actions of others. And since we don’t have a clue about their intentions, we try to interpret their actions. By the way, we go very wrong in this exercise many a time.

How do we really know what someone is going through when they act? It is so possible that the action came from a troubled mind and had nothing to do with any intention to hurt or upset which we promptly DID get... upset! Why? Because we are unable to fathom people's intentions and so, mis judge them.

So, rather than misjudge, do you know what we can do? Just give them the benefit of doubt. Why muddy your mind unnecessarily without possessing any data on others and with only the overt action to go by and to understand from?

We would not want people to do that to us. So, keep single standards and do as you would like others do unto you.

Life is cool. Two steps only...

Benefit of doubt

Move on. Good thoughts to sleep on.
