Avatar of people

I think many of us have seen life and people at close quarters. And yet, sometimes we are shocked at the avatar of people we have somewhat known since many years.

Actually, we have to constantly watch our spiritual quotient so as to use the right way to reach the top. And remember that the “top” is an illusory place and very relative in any case.

A hunger for power may be described as being ambitious but the word “hunger” smacks of an imbalance which might override good sense, wisdom and ethics.

We always think men answer to such a description . But, today, usurping power , overruling or sweeping aside a majority is getting to be a common factor even with women. It is certainly not gender based. The field is wide open.

It is amazing to see that there is no concept of right or just when it comes to thirst for power.

This thirst percolates down the layers of society , so much so that someone who retires from the limelight is unable to bear anonymity. And it is even worse if power had been acquired unethically. Guilty kicks in and remorse becomes an “after the event “ syndrome.

Every thought , every deed is energy . It increases or depletes and creates our reality based on how our levels of balance are and how big a role dharma plays in our lives.

Success happens to a deserved level if we are righteous but if we aim too high, we may not be able to be righteous all the time and will sacrifice ethics at some point.

And that’s why contentment and dharma are very important.
