We often speak of late bloomers. I don’t understand the concept. Late ? By whose standards ? Is it a judgement based on age ? Or mental faculties ? Only assumptions and postulates ! Mindsets, that this should happen at this time.... as if we are soothsayers !
The way I see it is, when we strive for
knowledge , there is a subtle process within that is also assimilating,
reflecting and introspecting while doing our daily work. People may not see
these aspects until they manifest. So, suddenly, someone may give way to the
knowledge they gained silently and this might have the power to surprise people
who had never seen this side. It’s as simple as that.
WE are quick to judge and expect based on
our limited knowledge of another. The “ late bloomers” are actually blooming
when the time is right for them. Like flowers bloom when they are destined to
bloom .
We have to change our thinking to see
beyond our limited understanding.
