Struggle and success

I just read a most uplifting post. “Setbacks are not as great as comebacks. Setbacks are meant for stepping back, waiting and then forging ahead with gusto.

People who kind of sink under setbacks probably don’t believe in themselves AND don’t have enough faith in the Universe. They see everything as a point of no return, when this is completely like shutting all possibility of light when we know very well that the sun shines every day.

I love this saying also because the feeling of making a comeback is simply fantastic. Nothing can ever match such a high. But we need to struggle and strive for that success.

Just keeping inspired in whichever way we can and never giving up hope and effort are the mantras.

What is the worst that can happen? Whatever the outcome, we would have tried our best.

Wisdom

Sometimes I wonder about small minds when I hear of people’s real life stories where they carry such huge burdens smilingly.

It is so much more productive to find it in our hearts to keep the love alive.

Sometimes, we have to have our hearts broken several times before we find that fountain of love deep inside which multiplies as we divide it. But we would rather close our hearts than let love ourselves of its cage.

When you don’t feel it inside your heart enough for yourself, people should not expect to receive it from

You but we always make that mistake.

Wisdom is long in dawning if it ever dawns.

Forget and forgive

It’s time to heal ourselves. How much conflict do we want? Aren’t we tired? Of all the negativity, all the gnawing desires of more and more and more. Insatiable wants!

It’s time to heal. Empty out our hearts of all we have bottled up and release it all to the winds. Let’s breathe easier. Let’s love more. Forget and forgive hate, envy, cravings ... and be at peace with ourselves.

What is it that we search? It is all within us.

Circumstances

Good sense must always prevail at the worst of times. And one of those worst times is when you feel victimized by life’s circumstances. It doesn’t really solve anything. In fact, depletes all your good energy.

When we enter a dark room, and there is no light, no candle in hand and no way to find one, we try to feel our way back to the door. Do we feel like we are victims of fate because this happened to us? Yes, we might feel angry, frustrated but not like victims.

But somehow, when we feel diminutive and lost without connection to and trust in the divine power within us, we fail to see the way out that door.

Because we MUST know that we came in from a place which was lit up. So, obviously, there IS light out there. We just have to find it.

Goodluck.

Crown of thorns

I have always maintained that, on long term observation, I have generally found less thinkers and more followers in the world. Perhaps, that’s why they vote bad politicians into power, just getting mesmerized by money power and flamboyance without solidity and leadership qualities.

It is truly amazing that Donald trump should be able to hold sway over “white” America such that his followers would actually stoop down to wreak such havoc in Washington DC. And ruin their own reputation, meticulously laid down through many years, at least as a stable country.

Somehow, although USA has had its share of racial issues, THIS episode of vandalism in Washington DC has really resulted in a bit of shame for the most powerful country in the world.

They say, to sustain power, one should be able to temper it with benevolence, not megalomaniac tendencies.

People have great expectations from Joe Biden: equivalent to his seniority and hopefully, maturity, too because his inheritance is certainly not a healthy one. Just like our Indian PM inheriting a crown of thorns.

More power to these statesmen and praying they can reverse the separatist trends that are tearing the world apart bit by bit earlier and very rapidly now.

Recognize

It is so easy to criticize someone. So easy to mock at someone people say there is vicarious pleasure in it. I think there is a lot of sadness behind those criticisms, those smirks and mocking.

We forget that when we see something worth criticizing, we recognize it because we also have the same traits in us. Otherwise, how would we recognize them? And to mock at others kind of camouflages our own pain at being the way we are.

Yes, if we have the courage to recognize this and work on ourselves to improve on this, that’s terrific! Sadness is no answer to anything productive.

Relationships

Right thinking makes life easy. It is simple that if a fabric is torn, it cannot be used. But if it is darned well, it can. Like the fabric, burning bridges in relationships is like tearing the fabric and you can’t use it again. Where as if the holes of misunderstandings can be plugged, there is every chance to retain the equation.

I have seen that the most intolerable, vexing people are the most vulnerable and need their fabric to be mended at the earliest.

Consequences

Let every experience polish your shine more and more. Detach yourself from it and you will see what that experience is trying to show you about yourself. Every such realization adds shine to your persona. Don’t get involved in the judgmental aspects of goodness and adversity of them. That is just your perspective. In reality, the implications are vast and consequences far reaching... much more than you know.

Confidence

If you are not a confident person, you will always lack in confidence in relationships as well. You might misunderstand instead of understanding because the light emitted by confident people is so bright that many may automatically come under its shadow.

Really not a desirable situation the idea of “I am not good enough” can be the reason. This could have developed in childhood or maybe, with constant comparisons. But this is sheer ignorance nevertheless.

Most of the time, we try to avoid people who threaten us. We know what’s happening but still, don’t want to change this, although change May bring much positivism in us.

If you are excited about learning cycling but scared to sit on one, how will you learn to use it to move forward? Diffidence is like never getting onto that cycle. No one can lift us and put us on that seat except ourselves.
