Expectations
It is
all about expectations. We feel “comfortable” around certain people because
somehow, they don’t threaten our self-image. We accept only such people.
If you analyze
why some others are kept at bay by you, or criticise or pick on, you will learn
a lot about yourself.
The
moment you reflect on your thoughts, you will get the link within yourself. It
is never outside of you. Keep reflecting and cleaning up as you go along. This
is the only way to growth.

IT IS WHAT IT IS
When you don't talk about yourself much,
people feel you are alright. And you have no burning issues. But, actually,
some just don't have the habit. Some are too private. Some don't see what this
will accomplish. Some feel, "why bore others? How does it concern them?"
Or even, why it should concern them, Kind of "not done" kind of
feeling.
There are some who feel a part of other
people when they talk about their personal issues. But often, I have seen that
many also go through life's journey managing it as independently as they can. I
wonder if being vulnerable to people's attention is viable in the long run. It
is difficult to put yourself in the opposite type of shoes from those which you
wear.
The final word of course, is, IT IS WHAT IT
IS until it isn't that anymore.

Intention of people
Have we ever thought that if we never
accepted the dishonorable intentions of people, how untouched by negativity we
would be! Imagine, if someone wanted to deliberately humiliate you, for
example, but you just didn't react to the intention and instead, continued to
maintain your politeness and dignity, how foolish that person might end up feeling?
Try it, not once, but again and again,
through life.
