Humility

Reality is not perceivable unless we distance ourselves from our own prejudices and dislikes first. When we dislike someone, even a good action from them appears a questionable act. And when we like someone, there is a tendency to become blind and we are unable to see the wrong they do.

It is always and always OUR mind, either loving, graceful and clear OR polluted, clouded and partial. Of course, not many of us can, with humility, acknowledge our perspectives, colored or clear, and find it tough to make the change to a pure mind. We would rather live in pollution because we don’t WANT to acknowledge that we may be toxic to ourselves. So, we live within this energy.

Spiritual Realm

Absolute, untainted truth is almost always unacceptable to the average human mind. It is like wearing sunglasses to protect your eyes against the sun. Stark reality is like the blazing sun .

This is why we find sugar coated living bearable and even motivating. The fear of discovering who we really are rules our lives. We don’t want to go there. There is an unconscious denial to turn inwards.

Our comfort levels lie in overt, sometimes superficial gregariousness, almost to divert our minds from our intrinsic nature and our inability to isolate ourselves to find ourselves. For, meditation is nothing but that. To eliminate the thought that works as a veil between the divine and you. In other words, thoughts become an impediment because they immediately combine with senses and pollute the mind which, actually, needs to be purified to make headway into the spiritual realm.

All our lives, we exist like this, until the end of our lives.

Creation

The ultimate reality is that all creation is one. All humans are therefore, one. So, are we always going to be working from our ignorance and separating from each other through what appears to be but is an error of perception at best? And not what IS? Because we never focused on what IS! We are so superficial that we only judge through our habits and cultural differences! So, wearing a certain garb gives an identity to one but is seen as different from what another wears … and merely on such outward appearances, we distance ourselves. And religion does a lot of this. Little differences become huge and reasons to actually kill because of a complete intolerance of people who APPEAR different. I wonder why we cannot focus on the inner similarities and find it in our hearts to love each other! Plenty of similarities…. The colour of blood The body parts and organs The mind An intellect Memories Breath Consciousness Awareness … and so much else! So then, why are we so separatist in our thinking? And we talk about it ad nauseum But do nothing about it! Just some topic for conversation? And that’s it? Why? Because each of us is wanting change outside first. Right? Wisdom

When you post some very profound words of wisdom , people often show a doubt in that , can we really practice all of it ? True that it takes an awful lot of will, determination and desire to walk that path. Not to mention a constant awareness. And many , therefore, turn around and walk back to the path is comfort. The common statement is, “ come on ! I am not a saint”.
As if the path of wisdom is only meant for the saints, or, the extraordinary ! And yet, if you read the biographies of the world famous personalities, some started at the bottom and worked their way up. This kind of gamut of experiences and learned wisdom to make such a stupendous success of their lives can be a beacon for those who think they can never emulate such people successfully.
The real Issue is not that we can’t do it. It is , that we have slotted ourselves as people with limitations, that of being “ordinary”. Or just with an established pattern which we kind of like and are settled into.
Actually, there is wisdom inside all of us , wherever we are and whatever we do. We just don’t know that we can use it anytime, in fact, must use it to better our understanding about everything to graduate to higher vibrational levels as students of life do.

Talent

Conforming is a talent I have not seen much of. It seems people find it difficult to fall in line as it were. You make a rule and you can be sure it will be broken more than once. The mind is unable to remember with consistency. Alternatively, it may not be taken seriously at all. Amazes me sometimes ! How can one repeat the same mistake again and again ?
In school, we had to conform. In certain homes, children have to conform. But as adults, we don't think it is necessary to conform. In short, it spells a lack of respect for any rules made by others. Too much of individual assertions without understanding the importance of being able to conform when required. Another yardstick of balance.

Philosophies of life

Isn't it amazing, this zest for life and will to live? Despite lives ending around us and all kinds of ailments plaguing humanity, we still carry on. Philosophies of life emerge every day. Some listen. Some listen and practice. Some don't listen. Some don't want to know and are happy in their world. Seasons come and go. Wrinkles start to show, last on the face and limbs. Those on the mind are older but when they manifest outwardly, we begin to take notice.
We are humans. We will regress some, progress some, cry some, laugh some, and carry on living life with all that we have, good, bad and indifferent. Who is anyone to say what these mean anyway? Because they mean so many different things to so many different people that you get exhausted from trying to fathom and analyze. It's like you roam all over the world and then finally, come back and rest only in your home.
