Truth

Absolute, untainted truth is almost always unacceptable to the average human mind. It is like wearing sunglasses to protect your eyes against the sun. Stark reality is like the blazing sun.

This is why we find sugar coated living bearable and even motivating. The fear of discovering who we really are rules our lives. We don’t want to go there. There is an unconscious denial to turn inwards.

Our comfort levels lie in overt, sometimes superficial gregariousness, almost to divert our minds from our intrinsic nature and our inability to isolate ourselves to find ourselves. For, meditation is nothing but that. To eliminate the thought that works as a veil between the divine and you. In other words, thoughts become an impediment because they immediately combine with senses and pollute the mind which, actually, needs to be purified to make headway into the spiritual realm.

All our lives, we exist like this, until the end of our lives.

Spiritual Realm

Absolute, untainted truth is almost always unacceptable to the average human mind. It is like wearing sunglasses to protect your eyes against the sun. Stark reality is like the blazing sun .

Motivation

Sometimes, I wonder if we see ourselves the way others see us ? In a way, it is a good thing to be oblivious ! Live  in our own world !

Though , if we did see ourselves from the  eyes of another, , we would not do the many things we do. We would check our behaviour.

Sensitivity develops only with the scrutiny by others. We just don’t analyse our own selves while being extra quick in interpreting the actions of others.

Huge misunderstandings can deplete our energies big time if we don’t watch out ! Only because we only did what most people do anyway.. blame someone else ! Without knowing even half of what might have motivated someone to do what they did.

Old story ! New episodes every day !

Wisdom

Sometimes, the shocks life gives you leave you numb and speechless. But it is silly to react so emotionally. People can be callous and cruel. Are you going to give them more power, more energy by hurting? That would be foolish.
Wisdom lies in choosing when to take anyone seriously. Hopefully, never to take anyone seriously like they say, take it with a pinch of salt. Though why they give salt so much importance, I don’t know may be, because salt retains water in the body and similarly, egos bloat people.
So, take a chill pill and move in life like a free spirit. No encumbrances, especially when it comes to undeserving people around you. Not worth killing yourselves with numbness or shock.
Like my guru said, be a witness. No one belongs to you and you don’t belong to anyone. Nature is unfathomable. It is said that a baby scorpion kills its mother after its birth. Is it a surprise then to see what humans can do?

Paying the price

Living your life with sound principles! Our generation is extremely fortunate that we were imparted these from a very young age. It has given us a strong core and the strength to bear the consequences brought before us. The common parlance is” paying the price” for what happens to us. But the angle of perspective may be looked into. We don’t really pay any price as such. That is only a feeling expressed in this terminology because paying a price really means you are doing something you don’t really want to a trade off.
There is no trade off when we live by principles. They light up our path and we walk on that path. Whatever comes our way, we overcome it because our training has depth. Not that there is no hurt, but that the way to remove this hurt has been taught to us. The core is strong.

Life experience

I believe in pure intention and connectivity as being two factors that can transform anything from negative to positive. That we are connected with everything and everyone in this Universe is a fact: a conviction if you have that level of awareness to have experienced this. It is also a fact that thought is a prime energy and therefore, pure intention the thought form that raises your vibrations to a higher level to actually connect with the Divine energy that makes everything manifest. How beautiful is that!
This way, we are also connected to knowledge that lies within us but through academics and through life experiences, is just triggered in this current life and manifests into our conscious mind. Like, for example, a city you have apparently not visited before but seem familiar for no reason at all.
Our soul has lived many lives and memories of places, people, Events, reactions, responses are all stored deep within. Like you open a box to take what is within, the box of memories is waiting to be opened, scrutinized and healed wherever required. And we can all do these ourselves. It depends on the vibration levels we are able to achieve. Like a fast spinning top that does not allow any dust to settle on it.

Emotions

It takes a long time, and after you stop being in denial, to start getting in touch with your feelings enough to start work on them. There is a shock absorber phase when the disbelief of say, being treated badly by your loved ones, is painful. And gradually, acceptance sets in, or should set in at least, for your own sake. The healing process can only commence after the acceptance stage. And when you succeed in letting go, you know you are on your way.
Being in touch with your feelings triggers memories and reliving these can provide solutions in the present moment if we have moved on from earlier times. Meditation is the mantra for all times. It is the deepest cleanser of all times.
You tube is full of guided meditations which a beginner should definitely try. Done regularly, they bring in some wonderful changes and enhance your ability to dissipate imbalances in emotions. This has been my personal experience.
You can't pick and choose your experiences when karma is after you. But you can cleanse karma through your own understanding and determined efforts.

Motivation

Why we are so whimsical that we sometimes don't even do what is necessary? We don't make the necessary possible. It's a good starting point, you know. We need to do what we need to do. As a second step then, we can extend ourselves into the realm of the possible. Not always necessary but possible. And once you see an opportunity as possible, one day, you can try and make possible what was in the realm of the impossible.
It's all in the mind, intention and courage. As you walk, the path is sure to open up.
This is motivation for those who want to venture out in the direction of the impossible.

Natural consequences

Bringing up children to be wholesome individuals within the current context of complications, confusion, complexes and all sorts of mental corruption is a huge challenge. Many couples who think that having children is step 2 after marriage may please the family members around them but they themselves may not be ready as in mature enough, to become parents. To be responsible adults also means being brought up well by YOUR parents because you will only pass on to the kids what you know or the way you are.
Naturally then, the children will generally imbibe your teachings. If you look around at families, gone are the bonding families where sets of parents and cousins are closely attached to each other. Sadly, the children of siblings who develop distances due to small and insignificant issues invariably influence their children to maintain those distances, a huge part of their insecurities.
The other things that happen are natural consequences of adult behavior. The kids begin to tell the parents what they want to hear. Whenever unity is not prevalent, kids tend to take advantage by talking against the people their parents don't like. And the parents seem to endorse this because of wanting control over their kids. So, wrong becomes right. And the complexes of adult issues percolate to their children.
Growing up, these kids prefer friends to family and thus, families get more and more divided. And the odd people who can cement the frayed relationships are themselves victims of these myopic attitudes.
I can understand that everyone is human. But if the basic family love is maintained, all else can be forgiven and forgotten and kids can grow up healthy and respectful. Many a time, it takes just one complexes person in the family to begin its end. And that person is usually in denial of being the initiator,  small tear in a beautiful fabric which, if not darned immediately, tends to become bigger and bigger.
And after a point, the fabric must be discarded because you can't even darn it anymore. Many families have been torn apart and today what we call insular family units are units without limbs and heart. Collections of units joined together forms unity. And in the absence of unity, only units function in society today.
