Conversation
There is an academic world out there which
keeps your cerebral movements stimulated. Sometimes, you meet people who you
can listen to for hours. And there is always so much to learn if you have an
open mind during interesting conversations.
The world is such an incredible place if
you observe all its features.

Work
Work is worship popular saying and truly a
very pertinent slogan for us all. The opposite side of the coin that says, an
idle mind is a devil’s workshop.
Constructive work keeps the health and
happiness quotient on a consistent level. It’s been my experience. It is a way
of giving back to yourself what you know to be your core as a part of divine
energy. What you think you are giving outside is actually what you are
returning to yourself.

Visualization
When we think negative, we tend to think
and see the worst in everything. We also tend to be more pessimistic during
such phases. It can turn into a vicious cycle of thinking the worst, losing
hope and again, thinking the worst because we lose hope. This pattern goes into
a loop.
But I have also seen such patterns replaced
by some very remarkable positive ones. The trick is to always visualize a
candle in the darkness. And that flame can expand and expand until there is no
darkness. After all, darkness is just an absence of light, isn't it?
The power of thought and of constant
positive visualization is irreplaceable. If only humans knew how to channelize
their higher self which is a powerhouse?

Controversy
It is generally wise to just withdraw in
the face of the ego of someone you know well. Relationships are precarious when
egos are high. If one accepts a person with all the traits, that equation might
be different from that of two people who are equal and confident. It all boils
down to how much you have digested life and its principles. And how much
calmness your inner being has achieved for you not to get affected by external
stimuli.
The one who succeeds is the one who knows
how to refrain from
Sparking controversies and tries to
appeasing those around. It makes you popular and endearing, but comes with the
pain of holding back personal thoughts, speech, both of which might be contrary
to the opinion of others.
Life is like that laced with some moving
forward and some backwards and some standing still.

Knowledge is power
That knowledge is power is a well known
truth. But truth also has two sides. And so, the power of knowledge can have
undesirable traits piling up, too. When knowledge is combined with power of the
wrong kind, it can cause endless agony and destruction.
As Lord Acton said, "Power corrupts
and absolute power corrupts absolutely". I know it is ironic and a paradox
that both words can be incompatible. But the beauty of humans is that their
minds find it easier to get twisted in the negative direction rather than
towards straight thinking, simple thinking and positive thinking.
You can be in any profession, have any
vocation but there is always a danger of developing arrogance, an illusion of
superiority and ego on the path of knowledge, evidently in comparison with the
less knowledgeable. There are two ways of handling knowledge. One, by wanting a
monopoly over it and two, by spreading it. The tendency for a monopoly goes
hand in hand with controlling the environment and its people whereas spreading
knowledge opens the heart and enables a person to become like a tree which
grows tall and gives shade unconditionally.
