Aspects of Kindness

When it concerns wrongdoing, we are aware that it is wrong. We still go ahead. The aspects of kindness/compassion get subdued by the ego and the ego defies the goodness of the heart which we all have.

But goodness gets suppressed or camouflaged when the ego comes to the forefront.

We need the awareness that the ego is also a tool that is not all bad. It is sometimes a survival tool related to our self-esteem. If we are not comfortable in our own skin, we may try to seek self-respect through our egos. But maybe, there is another way. This one could become a self-destructive exercise if we do not have the wisdom of discernment of human beings.

The reason being that the ego does not really recognize love in anyone else. It is self-consuming. Hence, the need for wisdom. Otherwise, we may arrive at crossroads in relationships.

Consciousness

On the occasion of Buddha Purnima, let me dwell on the only sermon given by Buddha, in which he didn’t utter a single word. When he held up a flower, the whole congregation was silent, not understanding it’s significance, except one. Mahakasyapa looked at it intently and smiled. Buddha handed over the flower to him and said, “I have said what can be said and what cannot be said.” From that day Mahakasyapa became his successor.

In this ‘Flower Sermon’, Buddha drew our attention to the importance of direct experience, shorn of intellectual analysis. Flowers embody both form and formlessness. They arise from the earth and return to it, drawing attention to the formless consciousness of Oneness.

The simple act of seeing a flower can usher in a meditative state of intense awareness

William Blake said it wonderfully:

To see a World in a Grain of Sand

And Heaven in a Wild Flower

Hold infinity in the palm of your hand

And eternity in an hour.

Level of awareness

When you do the right thing by others, at whatever cost to yourself and your desires, there is an immediate raise in vibrations. You feel that your higher self has revealed itself. The joy is apparent. So, don’t do anything that directly or indirectly, has a detrimental repercussion on anyone. As a rule, this contaminates your energies. Don’t ever doubt this or defy this view, because there is enough evidence to prove this.

Contamination of energies attracts more contamination. The Universe sends you more of what you have because it only vibrates with what you ARE. It cannot discriminate, like humans can.

You are already with people and in places that you need to be with and in. No use fighting this . It is karmic. It is meant to be. AND, if you leave your prejudices aside, it is meant for your good. To learn to heal all the dark aspects that people in your life are there to show you. You may not have a memory of your karma but the people around you ably compensate for this. If only you venture in that direction , which is not often.

And also, if you stop hating and blaming, the truth is, you are always amidst your soul groups which are “ coercing , “irritating” you into

Understanding the reality, which you must be aware enough to understand.

Life acquires a different meaning once you reach that level of awareness.

Soul Connections

“If I knew then , what I know now, I would have handled my life so differently “!

How many of us have said this to ourselves ? But , the point is.  We DIDN’T know. And now, foolishly, we beat ourselves up ! Absolutely not required.

Each of us chose our mother before taking birth. Why ? Because our agendas of life were connected. So, if the mother was going through a rough time during pregnancy, the child starts with a birth trauma.

The situation keeps changing . The parent and the child too keep advancing in their journey. Sometimes, love binds them

together.

Often, neither is aware of the larger canvas. But when one learns about soul connections and karma, that’s the starting point of the healing. We can’t do anything about past but we can definitely heal, heal, heal everything that we know is not right in our lives and that of our loved ones.

The one thing we need the awareness and to ask “why” , because only then will we find answers. Anything that does not feel right in your gut, or intuition or thoughts, needs to be addressed. Not tucked away somewhere.

Perspective

Unless we resonate with each other, I am comfortable within my own space and also in leaving you to your own space.

There is much merit in this thought process. First of all, respecting the space of each other ensures an enduring association between people. Not distancing due to some mistaken perspectives but consciously proving the same space to others that you would like for yourself. Simple enough on the face of it and until you keep it simple and not encroach on personal space.

This desire to be close to people also spells entering someone else’s energy . And sometimes, that person may not have firm boundaries in place and may end up more vulnerable and easily affected .

Energy poaching is as harmful as poaching. Sometimes, Even more. So, this learning is a huge learning and is slated to bring in more awareness.

Perception

Many of us live within a whirlpool of repeated patterns, bringing the same results each time and those that get embedded deeply bring either joy or grief. Those that cause grief need to be examined afresh. Evidently, while attempting to make the right choices, we end up making some wrong ones , too.
Most of the time, the tags "right" and "wrong" refer to the results of our actions as materializing in a feeling of joy or sorrow. But what we don't easily perceive is that if the intentions are pure, the actions perceived as wrong can ultimately have a good effect, because the "wrong" was a clouded perception.
If you have done your best, you will sleep well every night.
