Wisdom

A very important lesson we were taught very early in life was that rights go hand in hand with duties. What is wisdom all about? In a nutshell, if this above principle is followed, life becomes easier.

The sense of duties has blurred today and the entitlement to rights has increased. That imbalance is creating fragmented societies and breakup of the natural family systems. And each one of us is responsible.

When you examine history, there have always been good and not so good phases in a cyclical mode. None of it is real. But for us, it is the only reality. The karmic angle brings souls with different agendas onto this earth, ostensibly either being born into or acquiring relationships. There is a known factor always in our so called unknown factors that unfold during our lives. But we have no memory of this. So when karma triggers, we are shocked, angry, in denial and resort to blame.

That’s why in every religion, God is an anchor to fall back on: an unknown factor that only faith can activate. So, if we are prone to over thinking, this angle is the best to overthink. At least, it propels us along the correct path and makes our journey bearable, bringing in the bliss factor that eludes most of us.

Reciprocity

I don’t understand when people say “it is too late”.why ? How ? When is it too late to salvage a situation ? Maybe, the feeling of “ too late” is within us and WE want to give up. Because we don’t see a reciprocity … Yet, Often, success is just beyond your giving up. And if you had tried just that little extra, a lot could have been redeemed.

Yes, there are exceptions and once in a while, it IS best to let go. But that instinct needs to be cultivated.

We generally seem to persevere when things are important to US. But sometimes, we need to create that balance between us and others’ needs.
