Selfless-Love

Sometimes, it is painful to watch someone you care for developing qualities that, you know, are not going stand them in good stead in the long run. And you are unable to even point it out. Because minds are blocked.

Each of us has to develop that vision, that awareness of distancing from ourselves so that we can observe ourselves and see ourselves more clearly. To see why we do what we do and what are the repercussions happening which we are unable to see until it is too late.

This is when our lives are running on an even keel and we think we are in control. Illusion indeed! Suddenly, one episode can upset our lives . And then, it is possible that people who care for you may not be around to support you. Or pick up the pieces with you.

It is wise not to alienate those people and appreciate them as people. Not many can really love selflessly. So, don’t throw away your blessings.

Self-esteem

One of the most significant issues of self-esteem is the inability to be relevant to oneself and as a reaction, to others.

I have noticed many times that being relevant as being productive is imperative to the rest falling into place. It makes for a certain brand of inner happiness that makes petty issues irrelevant, which would be otherwise magnified, leading to much inner struggle and conflict.

Relevance also gives a value to society through our contribution. A win situation.

Communication

In relationships, sometimes, it is good to ask “why”. Because once you can talk it out, you may find that you can save a relationship from misunderstandings. Especially, if you care.

On the other hand, when in communication with God, “why” is replaced by faith. There is no asking “why”. Everything is perfect and as per plan. Of course, humans will always doubt!

Awareness

We have to watch our feelings about everything and everyone. Often, we feel negative or an alarm bell goes off within us. But we ignore it.

Instead, go into it and find out the cause. Sometimes, it is just your expectations showing up as disappointments. But sometimes, it can be a warning signal either to be wary or that you are going the wrong way.

It is incredible how important those one or two seconds of that particular warning can be. And how beneficial to our breaking old patterns with newfound awareness. Provided we listen carefully!

Resolutions

We must keep reinventing ourselves ever so often! And rejuvenating ourselves, too!  Life’s challenges will keep coming but this exercise will keep us energized.

Flip life on both sides of the coin so it becomes easy to accept one side and switch to another with a toss. Once the coin and the ability to flip it is on our side, it is an exciting game and gives us the control in our hands, at least some of the time.

To be too intense is not the answer. Focus and taking balanced strides makes a lot of difference. Redirect yourself with every challenge and look for resolutions.

Life Span

As researchers excitedly work on elongating the human life span, the senior citizens struggle with loneliness, ailments, little to look forward to and non-productive living.

The erstwhile vivacious and bubbly friends are today victims of personal tragedies galore! So many have passed on and so many are suffering from diseases and the loss of loved ones!

Some flog themselves (metaphorically) to keep their sanity and agility of mind by doing sudoku and such activities others give up!

The bottom line for longevity of life would definitely be sound mental, emotional and physical health. In their sunset years of fragility, all senior citizens need love, compassion, understanding and looking after in order to survive their last few years in relatively good health.

Let us not forget, their lives have been fraught with stress which they took on to keep their families thriving. Their brand of family love was sacrificing and working hard for their children. And often, the intense struggle cost them their own sense of joy AND that of others around them.

This should always be carried in the front of our minds.

Connectivity

If you feel connected, you will be inclusive and share spontaneously. Or otherwise, if you are alienated from yourself, then you may not feel connected to others either at all or only selectively. Just as our physical system is integrated, so does our mental and emotional system need to be interconnected.

Contrary to our estimation, connectivity adds to our energy levels , like the electricity wires connected to the switch which, when pressed, beings light into the room.

There is no merit in being exclusive and wanting to feel superior. It is a complex, nothing more. Reality is very different. Our minds need to be free from all blocks of negativity towards ourselves and others. Once that happens, you get back all your energy which you have given away to others and this way, given them control over you.

Relationships

When we tie a knot the wrong way, we have actually made just one small mistake in the method. But that one mistake carries out the whole process incorrectly. And to unknot it takes quite a while.

I find relationships start getting complicated also with just that one misunderstanding. And if not immediately sorted out, becomes a complicated entanglement of more misunderstandings, more emotions and more bad blood.

And in such cases, unknotting is not quite that simple! Because humans have their egos, a sense of self-respect etc. so, a straight forward, simple act of wanting to untie the knots is not so simple.

At the end of the day, you have to really know intentions, everyone’s and your own. This is not simple anymore because people are not simple anymore. What you see is Not necessarily what you get.

There is no solution except your own ability to absorb the outcome. // Silence can be one solution but not a practical one. Besides, who says you can’t misread silences? Ensuring that WE act from pure intention is all we can do.
