Environment
There is a feel to life. And everyone has a different feel, based on our environment, how we were brought up, what values we grew up with, what our emotional state was, whether we were taught kindness and love … who we grew up with , who our friends were growing up, how much controls we had on us by elders … I can go on and on…
The point I am trying to make here is, how
useless then is it to compare ourselves to others for whom all of the above may
have been so very different from each of us !
It really baffles me that people could get
so obsessive about someone else’s life that they forget that we can only be
better versions of ourselves , not of others. And for this to happen, the focus
is our life, not anyone else’s.
Many of us find it easier to teach the
simple things of life than actually BE simple. It seems quite a contradiction
when you think of teaching as the best form of learning.
Teach yourself to take your own advice and
let others do the same is a good mantra for peace and growth all around.

Perspective
Unless we resonate with each other, I am comfortable within my own space and also in leaving you to your own space.
There is much merit in this thought
process. First of all, respecting the space of each other ensures an enduring
association between people. Not distancing due to some mistaken perspectives
but consciously proving the same space to others that you would like for
yourself. Simple enough on the face of it and until you keep it simple and not
encroach on personal space.
This desire to be close to people also
spells entering someone else’s energy . And sometimes, that person may not have
firm boundaries in place and may end up more vulnerable and easily affected
.
Energy poaching is as harmful as poaching.
Sometimes, Even more. So, this learning is a huge learning and is slated to
bring in more awareness.

Teaching and learning
Teaching and learning go hand
in hand. As we teach our children virtues, it is not a one way flow. It is a
simultaneous opportunity for us to review our own principles. Somehow, adults
do not retain what they learnt as children.
They say, life happens when
they grow up. It’s never rung true. An excuse! Because all the wrong conditioning
we adhere to very faithfully, so why not the right things we teach our kids?
Double standards and multiple
standards which, fortunately, kids don’t know in their innocence; all the
complexes and small mindedness are developed later, when we forget to apply our
own teachings in our own lives.

Miracle
I have learnt that not everyone who is
knowledgeable is a good teacher. You have to have the knack of breaking it down
to basics to make it acceptable, understood and palatable. I think the one
effective way to teach is after you have experienced life and had a chance to
introspect, analyze and then come to some valid conclusions about how life
works.
Books can never substitute for experiences.
As for living life, the best attitude is
that of a child who finds a miracle in everything.
