Fear of Failure

It is said that humans don’t use more than 5 percent of their brains. But, I wonder if we even use our full potential! Do we give ourselves the opportunity of exploring what is within us….?? And we are vast! There is so much talent and capability within us!

And yet, instead of becoming adventurous enough to attempt new activities, we look at others and find ourselves lacking in that spirit which others might have.

Fear rules us for one. The fear of failure! Well, by failing, we learn. With failure, we better ourselves. With failure, we change our ways when something does not work.

Moreover, the emotions inherent within failure are also closely related to “what will people say if I fail!” Losing face! This is a big deterrent and such a futile one! Yes, it is possible that you might be discussed but when you actually succeed, how many are really happy for you? Right? Success and failure are YOURS! Nothing to do with anyone else!

We have one life to learn from

And make the most of! Take a chance with life!

Path of Spiritual

I see people trapped in their self images created by personal wealth, the power that it brings and the sycophants that gather around. Attractive though completely illusional trappings ! And until people actually extricate themselves from the “ I am great” illusion, they have a long way to go in taking the path of spiritual thought.

There is a constant chatter about “ self made” kings , so much drudgery and challenges before success … and so many accolades ! But what is important is, what kind of humans do they develop into ? Remembering our roots in another space and knowing the world is transient should be triggers for enjoying the success as good deeds from other lives which gives a credit balance to enjoy worldly trappings. But at the end of the day, they ARE traps if we don’t secure our virtuosity for the future.

Someone steeped in wrong doings goes to the temple twice a day. When asked why, he laughs and says that he goes to wash off his sins to sin more. Do we see any merit here ? Or is it just deep ignorance ? Ultimately, there could be a late realisation of being on the wrong path in many ways. But a lifetime is wasted. The opportunity has eluded us.

To keep our hearts and minds scrupulously clean is the only way to go. And then, enjoying the success that is ours, is commendable ! And god ordained, as everything is.

Wishful thinking!

The real world does not disappear just because we close our eyes. I know it is easier but is also wishful thinking! One has to come to grips with real life and keep energizing the coping mechanism. It is truly mandatory because the converse is not a healthy option.

The moment you give up, you lose the opportunity to change things around to a better status for yourself. And will continue to wear shoes that pinch. Good to remember that a new and comfortable pair is required often.

Life is all about a graceful acceptance, not a defiant denial. Those who hit their heads against a wall bleed. Those who create doors in the wall always are a part of the solution, not a part of the problem.

Spiritual orators

In the beginning, an attempt to detach is very painful. Humans are tied up in the silken threads of “moha” which is attraction to people and things, even to places. Even silken threads spell bondage, though, it may be remembered.
Spiritual orators recommend detachment to obtain peace and to move forward towards a more elevated state of being. Not an easy task ! But when you pray hard enough, and try sincerely, the Universe helps you. Circumstances arise to help you detach slowly, often painfully.
After the stage is reached when the pain lessens, you can start feeling the relief of being liberated. Because in “moha”, YOU hold on so, only you can let go to experience the feeling of freedom from the huge amount of baggage that you had stored baggage because “moha” leads to much suffering. You are actually trying to capture the intangible and the illusory. What then would be the result other than suffering?

Karmic bondage

It is very logical that love has to be its own reward. Because many cannot recognize it and many do not know how to receive it. Many do not want it either because they don't want the burden of having to return it. Believe it or not!
You know, you can't give what you don't have or don't feel. Even if it is hard to accept, the fact is that each individual journey is a karmic one. If you have close previous karma, you will receive love from those souls. Need not be in the role of a family member from where it is naturally expected.
Once, an astrologer told a friend that the child she had miscarried was a soul who was out for karmic retribution. Subsequently, the same or similar soul was born to her. And she is constantly trying to heal herself and that soul. There was no escape.
So, karmic realities from other lives just have to be experienced and continuously healed. For, there is no blame anywhere. What goes around come around? If we don't accept this, we can live a life of misery till our last day.
Of course, if all the people realize this, we can free ourselves from that karmic chain. But even if one person heals, that person can get free from karmic bondage.
To believe or not believe this, we need to analyze our relationships and bring in some wisdom thereafter, if our mission is to be happy. Otherwise, we continue with our inevitable cycle of cause and effect. Oscillating like a yoyo between misery and happiness based of the quality of the karmic fallout.

Motivation

Why we are so whimsical that we sometimes don't even do what is necessary? We don't make the necessary possible. It's a good starting point, you know. We need to do what we need to do. As a second step then, we can extend ourselves into the realm of the possible. Not always necessary but possible. And once you see an opportunity as possible, one day, you can try and make possible what was in the realm of the impossible.
It's all in the mind, intention and courage. As you walk, the path is sure to open up.
This is motivation for those who want to venture out in the direction of the impossible.
