Determination

May god give us the strength and the awareness to streamline our lives. And have the courage to lose superficiality within ourselves and the people around us.

It is impossible to sustain relationships between apples and oranges. Why try?

We must accept that everyone is on different levels, different aspirations and goals. During each life we get opportunities to strive for spiritual goals. Money and power, definitely coming as a reward for good karma, unfortunately become the goal, and gradually the greed for supremacy takes away our awareness towards the means we are employing.

We begin to pile on adverse karma and all the earlier “punya” slowly ends and the new phase of karma begins, depending on future actions.

To build is easier than to sustain. To sustain there is more effort and that effort can become an unethical one.

First, perhaps we need sustained ethical awareness and a determination to, at all costs, tread the righteous path while aspiring to achieve.

Everyone preaches but following the same is a big challenge. Only the human being is suspicious even of God’s plan. Irony at its best.

Soul graduation

Soul graduation seems pretty real to me. We speak about new and old souls. Their tendencies, their inclinations, their interests say a lot. However, becoming an old soul is a matter not necessarily of many births but many experiences and learning from them.

What we DO with this life is crucial. How we respond to it is important. Whether we blame or count our blessings is vital. Whether we hate or love determines our progression.

Old souls seem to understand this sooner. But nothing is written in stone in this vast creation.  The possibilities are endless.

Philosophies of life

Isn't it amazing, this zest for life and will to live? Despite lives ending around us and all kinds of ailments plaguing humanity, we still carry on. Philosophies of life emerge every day. Some listen. Some listen and practice. Some don't listen. Some don't want to know and are happy in their world. Seasons come and go. Wrinkles start to show, last on the face and limbs. Those on the mind are older but when they manifest outwardly, we begin to take notice.
We are humans. We will regress some, progress some, cry some, laugh some, and carry on living life with all that we have, good, bad and indifferent. Who is anyone to say what these mean anyway? Because they mean so many different things to so many different people that you get exhausted from trying to fathom and analyze. It's like you roam all over the world and then finally, come back and rest only in your home.

Desire

What often becomes a wound, regret and a cause for depression is the memory of what we aspired for but didn't get. I would really like to meet one person who got everything, haven't yet met one.
But neither have I met many who are able to count what they HAVE got. If only we could use a magnifying glass to view our blessings, we could find it in our hearts to feel very foolish at our myopia.
From the smallest toy when we are kids to huge empires when we are adults are on our wish list. Avarice rules us in wanting the world, beyond ambition. And the whole conflict is about being deprived of the few desires in life as compared to the ones achieved and these being the reason to feel happy and blessed.

Energy

More people should go into learning and practicing energy work. Even those who don't know Reiki symbols or Panic Healing can start by becoming aware of everything within and without as energy. The moment you create the awareness, you start feeling that energy.
Today, we add the popular prefix "e" to every enterprise...like e commerce, e publishing etc. Similarly, we also have "e motion” and "e" go...e for energy in this case.
E motion is simply energy in motion. E go also implies movement.( go) These are energies in motion which we need in life but transmuted as positive energy.
Without feelings and emotions, we would be like dry, barren land. Without ego, we would not know how to balance our inner and outer worlds.
But there is a difference to be made in using emotions for peace and harmony and manifesting the connectivity and oneness aspects as opposed to excessive detrimental emotions causing conflict and war.
Speaking of ego, it accelerates the pace of lessons to be learnt in self control, balancing the male and female aspects of one and speaking universal truths without ego and with humility and understanding.
Understanding energy is extremely enlightening, informative and transformatory. I sincerely advocate an interest in this direction.

Conversation

I think I understand why people don't share heart to heart conversations anymore. Or rarely... it is not easy to understand the pain of others for the simple reason that each one's intensity of feeling the pain and the reasons for the pain are distinctive to each person. What won't touch me will probably scar someone else for life. And while I could be clinical , the other person could feel suffocated with an unimaginable tide of grief.
Ultimately, life is about how much you can reconcile yourself to. How much numbness you develop before you start to get into the kind of drug induced slumber that knocks off your brain for a few hours.
Count your blessings...one, two, three......calm down! You are alone with your pain. And you have to get your own power and control back. For one, stop giving importance to that feeling which is likely to drown you. Cleanse your energy before it breaks you and brings you to a point of no return. Create space around to build up the capacity for movement. The last thing you need is to stand still within the muddied swamp of pain which no one can pull you out of but yourself.
So, share your feelings with yourself, then expel them from your system and relax with a smile and a charminar!

Promises

“I really wanted to do it but could not". " I wanted to actually say something else but I ended up....".” I am going to do this tomorrow even if I have to create a 25th hour."...
Promises! Promises! To myself or others or both....but no action...constant procrastination shows an undefined, undecided mind. Maybe, a lazy mind with very little positive energy. Someone who is carrying a huge weight on them. Or, a diffident mind.
Sometimes, I think the journey is so darned complicated! Such different mindsets! So much emotion! So much distrust...Lack of courage…among those "lucky" people who have much to thank the Universe for.
And on the other side, friendly and smiling faces of those who are "deprived" of faculties, limbs but filled with divine energy and divine spirit...fearless and indomitable.
I learnt a new lesson today. A renewed awareness of these aspects of learning and the fact that it is so important to resume living life after every rest we take.
