Journey

 Looking for endorsements is a kind of crutch. Can we perhaps develop the courage of our convictions? If we ask ourselves this question, as to why we always find our actions giving us more satisfaction when they are validated by others?

Yes, we are all connected by the universe but within that, we also travel alone from birth to birth. And that knowledge must liberate us and allow us to move forward, looking inwards and cleansing along the way.

When you are a spectator, an observer of all external factors, you will cease to attach too much importance to “belong” somewhere , as all situations are temporary , as we all know but deny the inner knowing.

Actually, the only belonging is to yourself only. Think about it ! The fluctuations outside are reflections of the fluctuations within. We are busy with

Acceptance / non acceptance

Love/ hate

Attachment/ aversions

Generosity/ pettiness

Like/ dislike

Justice/ injustice

Etc

Our mirrors are quite clouded. They will clear only when we cleanse. If you see someone’s polluted reflection in a mirror, you cannot clean it for them.

It is an independent journey with awareness each minute, erasing and rewriting as we go along.

Satiation levels

 

Right now, this world is rampant with humans who have lost their way. They neither hear their inner voices nor see any signs from the Divine. The foundation of life itself is like a house of cards. It has no substance.

The way God has willed it, whichever path we traverse does have the potential to change course at any time that we understand that the path is taking us somewhere else, away from where we NEED to reach, not where we WANT to reach.

Wants always tamper with our satiation levels. Needs can be satisfied. Once this difference is understood, there is hope.

Today, with the pandemic situation, when so many souls are leaving this contaminated world, we are still not understanding that we have created this reality with our greed and unholy ways. The humanity of humans is under a cloud.

It was said that eyes are the windows of our soul. But these days, we don’t odserve the eyes and if and when we do, the actual soul has been camouflaged so brilliantly with a veneer of “success” and “happiness” that the world is fooled by the superimposition of fake over real.

What’s the point ? Ultimately, nothing gained and everything lost ! But do we care ?

Laughter

Laughter is the best medicine but humor is so personal. Slapstick comedies can have a very antiseptic reaction for cerebral people. Like, “what is so funny in this?” While another set of people could be rolling on the floor.

Some just love the dry, British humor while for some; it has to be “in the face” humor. No subtlety wanted.

But life must be lived with humor laced with a pinch of salt as well. Whatever brand of humor you can respond to. I would rather shed tears from laughing uncontrollably than from crying uncontrollably. Wouldn’t you?

Satisfaction

Disappointments are a part of life. Especially when you set your heart on something, strive passionately to achieve your goal and either fail or achieve it only partially, certainly not to your satisfaction.

"Satisfaction" is the key word. At what level is there a feeling of satisfaction? And what gives that satisfaction? Is it personal recognition? Being a celebrity? Having plenty of money and power? Or touching the lives of people? To name just a few, and there are so many more.

Someone gave me a wonderful perspective on why we don't reach high points of success despite efforts. Or why there would be a break in career patterns, for example.

The soul comes with an agenda which does not necessarily include demands of a worldly ego. So, you are presented with episodes which are there as your lessons for this life. What YOU yourself have chosen to come and learn on this earth. When the soul is satisfied or saturated, it does not need for you to continue the effort towards what was really not meant to last beyond its time. You therefore, drop old activities naturally and new things and new opportunities start to happen to you.

So, disappointments are odious. It is the ego identity which creates a negative impact on a positive outcome. Everything is positive, if you understand the soul as being your core, not the body.
