Generations

Duty consciousness takes care of so many potential grievances. It is sometimes better to do what you are supposed to do, mechanically, than fail to do it.

Freedom without duty consciousness is really a recipe for grief! Not for anything else but for oneself! Time and time again, I have seen that defiance to do your duty can bring in a lot of guilt later. Because we ignore some universal principles.

The “should” and “must” have a very important place in one’s quest for freedom. To do what one should do by oneself and for others is the balance we need to create in our lives.

We are all connected by invisible dots which have to link harmoniously. A tug of war of any kind can upset the equilibrium.

Each one has a role here. Nothing more. And how well we can perform is our mastery over this art before we leave the world , hopefully as a better place for future generations!

Tranquil

Sometimes, it is okay to go with how you feel. And actually, also do what we feel like. There is enough we do that we must do clinically. And that is a part of the duties and responsibilities which it would not be right to shirk. But outside of that, it is okay to have some “me” time to restore the equilibrium.

Just like the candle burns brighter as it becomes smaller, so, sometimes, we grow more spiritually aware and kind of withdraw a little from external activity. Withdraw into ourselves a bit. It comes from within. Only from within.

This is an inevitable part of maturing, changing, evolving towards feeling peace and becoming tranquil.

External energy

Whatever or whoever WE give energy to be bound to become powerful. It could be an episode, a person anything. It could be just a thought that we might dwell on, especially a negative one or a positive one even. Both take on energy of their own and often, the negatives become a disturbing element in our lives.

For this reason, we are taught to give space and keep to our own space a simple matter of keeping our energies intact. If we are disturbed, for sure we have debilitated ourselves by transferring energy of our own outside of us.

“Letting go” simply means sending the negative energy back to where it belongs and regaining our strength. When we hoard external energies through thoughts and emotions is when we create imbalances within us. This awareness will help us to keep returning to equilibrium.

So, everything starts with us, and what form it takes may sometimes, not be within our control. Like a raging forest fire, it might destroy more than we ever bargained for.
