Meditation

We look for something all the time … searching all our lives for that one thing that may end all our troubles and make us peaceful.

But that’s not how it works. There are plenty of cobwebs to clear.

Besides, have we perhaps tried to look for what is actually looking for US? The so far unseen and unfelt vibrations that follow us to improve our thinking, our actions, give us clarity, are the casualty of our lack of awareness and focus on the wrong things.

The pity is, our energies are too dense to feel subtleties! Our tendency is more external oriented and so, very difficult to tune into subtle frequencies.

Some of us would have felt a tiny tremor within us sometime, only to have discarded it on the spot without understanding what it was trying to tell us.

To the meditators, these vibrations might touch sooner than later. New stimulation, new thoughts, new focus can happen with meditation. It changes lives.

Journey

Sometimes in life, we miss the bus in relationships with our superficial assessments of people. There are so many dimensions to every person but perhaps, we lack the depth to appreciate some sterling qualities in the people around us, probably due to our own minds being colored.

Yes, there are souls that are confrontational towards you, whatever you do from your side to appease them. For sure, these are karmic challenges. And perhaps the only way we can tackle such challenges is by removing all rancor inside us and just keep blessing them.

It takes time to understand what is within our control and what is not. Very often, good intentions from our end are unacceptable to others.

It is each one’s personal journey and we really have no control over anything except our own. So, c’est la vie! Walking our own path with awareness and accepting what we cannot change is the only wise thing to do. The universe keeps turning for us, as we tune into its frequency. Things improve as we work on ourselves. And even after that, what we want may not happen. What is meant for us will definitely happen. What comes our way without our asking for it is an act of God.

Realistic

Productivity has a lot to do with positivity and self-image. Wherever we are, we can be productive if we have the will. Important also is how we feel being productive. Because it also has much to do with feeling relevant.

Do we value ourselves? Do we have the courage of our convictions? Are we happy doing the smallest chore? Can we streamline our thoughts to improving our own journey?

Having a small sphere of influence is valid if we can make even one person happy. Your name does not have to be in neon lights for you to feel good. Many of us get unrealistic in our ambitions, and unhappy if we don’t fulfil them.

I am so convinced that there is a plan that unfolds for all of us. All we have to do is apply the universal laws and live by their truth. And the unexpected starts to happen, almost miraculously. The universal system of justice never fails. If we can increase one’s awareness to extend beyond oneself to observe the large canvas before we start painting on it.

Self-improvement

“Your path to success starts with a single step towards self-improvement. “A profound quote by Dale Carnegie! Simple and hard hitting, the key word being “self-improvement”. To open our inner eye that sees us as we are and to close our external eyes that only see where others should improve. The latter doesn’t help in our journey, does it?

The other struggle is how to define success. If you build an awareness of where you need to change for the better AND work on it, that is success. If you can turn the negative within to positive, that too is success. If you learn to cleanse yourself of the need for conflict and so on.

Peace descends where we learn to live within our own space and learn to plant a garden within the space, instead of encroaching on other spaces.

The problem with the few materialistic success stories is that those who earn it are more often more balanced than those around them who bask in reflected glory and take their glory to a narcissistic level, never having worked for it for a minute. The quest for an illusory supremacy! This is diametrically opposite to the concept of self-improvement.

And so we exist somewhere between two extremes that polarize humanity so much so that the wrong majority forms the “ right” and the right minority learns to survive as best as they can.
