Inner chaos

One of the issues we seem to have wants the pace others have, in our lives. We are constantly looking at others and comparing ourselves. Contentment with us is a big issue.

When the spiritual core is stable only can we learn to concentrate on our own journey. Nature teaches us important lessons. A rose is a rose and never wants to be a lily. It feels complete in itself despite the thorns. A lotus is content to live in stagnant water and blooms with great beauty and purity.

But we humans fail to see our own beauty, our own uniqueness like the rose. We don't think we are good enough. And the result is inner chaos, deprivation of self esteem and soul regression instead of evolution.

Life is easy if we learn how to live.

Opportunities in life

When someone tells us that we create our own destinies, we don't understand what is meant. The reality is, everything depends on our thoughts. They initiate our reality. Thoughts convert to habits if we continue the same process of thinking. And soon, they become beliefs. Then, the belief starts to materialize and manifest through our actions.

We live in a lot of ignorance. We really have no idea how we can be our best friends and our worst enemies as well.

Analyze your belief systems and you will know what reality you are creating for yourself.

We get many opportunities in life to change our reality and with each such change; we create a new reality, a new destiny.

Simplicity

I have always believed that everything is flowing. When I look back , our perspectives seem to have come a long way.

Sometimes, nostalgia takes me back to old movies because I just love the songs. And I was such a movie buff in my school days that I would see every movie running in theatres with silver jubilees and golden jubilees and a few, many times.

The stars of yesteryears were not only on the screen but in our eyes as well. And we thought those were carefree, magical days of innocence and fun.

When I see the same movies again, the impact is not the same. Sometimes, I wonder what I liked about a few of them. You obviously grow out of some things in life. But they still blend with our impressions created at the time and the memories we have of the feelings we had then. That quality of feeling does not return often. But what is important is living in the present moment completely, and this we did very well back then.

What is sad is that those days of simplicity of thinking and living have gone. And what they are replaced with is complex minds, insatiable desires and a general lack of consideration for each other. People now enjoy crime and fear in movies, calling them realistic. Where are the pure love stories and relationship stories?
