Generally, people have many different
perspectives in life. Views on similar matters differ and widely sometimes.
Each one of us values our way of thinking until it changes could be due to
inner learning or external education.
Today, the main problem in society is the
basic non acceptance of other viewpoints. Rather, intolerance to viewpoints
other than our own.
Do we ever debate on why we don't look like
clones of each other? We know and accept external appearances but can't do the
same in any other manner. So, if color and case unite, they also divide. The
same goes for everything else. Money, fame, values, culture, sophistication
etc.
We worry more about the appearance of a
glass rather than whether the water we are drinking from it is pure. Glass
divides but water unites similarly religion. The belief in different gods or
spiritual heads divides though the blood in the veins is the same in all and
unites all mankind. Correction! SHOULD unite mankind.
Then what stupidity are we up to , and
actually propagating that stupidity of divisions in every sphere ? The question
is, do we see it that way? Never have we preferred to think we are right and
everyone else is wrong. And we take along all those who think like us, whether
our thinking is beneficial or destructive.
Unfortunately, that's how more and more
individualistic groups form, each distancing from the other on account of lack
of affinity. This extends beyond boundaries and intolerance rules the world.
Peace is therefore, in pieces.
