When you respect everyone, you yourself become respect worthy. It is a good reminder.
If you don’t find it in your
heart to treat people well, there is a part of you that is unhealed. It is not
a matter of blame but compassion and understanding.
We find all kinds of people
around us and should make an effort to stay unaffected but at the same time,
also decode their minds from their behavior. The quality of our mind spills
over into external action. To be clinical about this is better than agonizing
over or personalizing the actions of others over which you have no control in
the first place. It would be like trying to destroy the rain which destroyed
the flowers in your garden.
