Conformist vs
Non conformist! Teamwork can negatively be described as toeing the line. A
conformist likes to flow with the popular vote. Nothing wrong and no
judgementalism. This is a required breed for evolving a consensus. And there is
seldom any controversy related to such individuals.
A non
conformist, however, is another kettle of fish. More daring, more assertive or
aggressive, often self opinionated, these people can put up many
backs. There is never a lack of excitement with them around. Conflict is almost
inevitable. They might even defy the law of gravity and stand on their heads to
prove a point. Their opinions can be creative and out of the box. They are
definitely interesting and often, not liked very much for whom they are. You
will see them in the forefront, performing unusual tasks because they are quite
driven.
Just very interesting to observe both categories and realize
how important it is to have both types of people in this world.
