Good Intentions

It is important to know when to communicate but more important to know when not to communicate. We all go through phases when we do things out of good intentions but offend some sensibilities. Fair enough. This happens sometimes to us also and then we are left to deal with our feelings. Like others deal with theirs. But in all of this, when one tries to smoothen the ruffled feathers, not once but many times and there is no response, it is time to withdraw communication. Holding on is not healthy but some people can’t let go easily. They have to work out their feelings and their relationship on their own. More so, the intentions of others. May take time. It is all a part of the drama. But important to understand that this is not about us or who we are. State of confusion

Very often, we are not sure of ourselves. A state of confusion , perhaps. Be clear in your intentions. WHY you are doing what you are doing. Very often, we do things grudgingly and are not happy doing them. This is going against one’s real self. There really isn’t any need. Honesty to ourselves is most important. Keeps the head and heart clear.

At some stage, all of us will realise that after going around gaining many experiences , we ultimately come back to ourselves. And if we don’t, then we have a long way to travel in our journey.

Professionalism

For a developing country, honing attitudes is the major requirement.

Professionalism in anything we take up is of prime importance. We have this tendency of taking advantage of anything and everything people want to get done through us. Taking advantage of people’s needs is an undesirable attitude. Making people chase you after they trust you and pay you for a legitimate deal which you take your time over accomplishing.  False promises and every procrastination that goes with it. Our intentions are dubious.

I have never understood this. Because the more genuine and efficient you are, the more good will you build up and the more work you get. What sense does it make to let people leave you with bad experiences, never to return?

We need dharma back in our lives. Honesty, simplicity, cleans mind and hearts, and empathy, all of which are necessary for a professional attitude and to sustain business and relationships.
