Divine

I am glad that some irrational mindsets are moving out today. Like beauty and brains don’t go together, the jokes on blondes being dumb, the Sardar jokes when the best positions have been occupied by them...

Mindsets, in any case, defy the actual creative powers of human beings. We said women’s role was as homemaker. Today, she IS that and a lot more. We said, men were made to be the bread winners. They ARE but not the only gender. We said, women were the weaker sex. We turned out to be very strong.

Why is the human mind always more focused on limiting us? Why we are unable to see the wider angles, have a broader vision? Living in boxes can be really claustrophobic and many of us fail to realise that this is exactly what we are doing and feeling like something is always missing in our lives.

To feel free and extraordinary that we all are, we need to climb out from that self created box and look at the vast scope of opportunities to grow and evolve.

You are your own Creator. So, the sky is the limit if you have the proper tools. There are two texts to be applied to ourselves: Purusha Suktam and Nirvan Shatakam.

We are as vast as the Divine and as pure as the Divine soul which is not to be identified with the body even when it is encased in the physical body for a few years between birth and death.

Peaceful life

Life carries with it a lot of role plays. Many relationships if you would care to have them. So many names and tags! By virtue of birth or a choice of people you want to be around.
But I see many are trapped in those relationships Compulsions, not choices. Somewhere along the way, there was love and then there was none. Things change. People change and move on. New ones enter your life. Each one fulfils you in some way, if you don’t hanker for any special considerations.
Life can be simple if you truly let go. One day, we will all leave this world. So much misery; so much disease; so much agony for what?
Simplify your lives the only answer to a peaceful life. Let life seek you out instead of the other way round.

Life is fragile

Taking life for granted! Yes, we do most of the time. Only when we see death around us do we get a shock, though for a while only. And then we are back to normal.
But we don’t realize that life is fragile and we need to thank God every day for each day.
Every breath that we take is very valuable. It is the elixir of life and must be treated with care. We tend to abuse it through anger and many negative emotions.
Nothing and no one should be able to take away the value of your life. Living it with happiness and a freedom to make choices for your life is the way to go. Some things and some people will always enter or go out of your life. Let it happen. Keep breathing in love, nature, light and peace and bliss will be yours.

Difficulties in life

The general complaint one hears about making any inner changes is, "but, it is so difficult ". Well, isn't everything difficult before it becomes easy? So, what is the problem? That you don't want to try at all, only because it seems difficult?
Phase 2: WHY is it difficult? This is a tricky one; Calls for a lot of beating about the bush and skirting the question itself; can’t afford to have answers that point at you.
Phase 3: I did try but it didn't work; Very difficult to measure the quantity / quality of the attempt. Easier to abandon half way than go through what seems like a huge struggle. Specially for the insatiable ego you carry everywhere.
When you speak of difficulties in life, everyone has them. But if you don't make it a point to work your way through them, the feeling of being stuck will always keep you stuck. And difficult is as difficult thinks it. Whereas, easy is as easy does it. Simple and quite straight forward!

Rejoices

"I've noticed that a lot of people don't notice the obvious.
Then I found that it's not their eyesight, but their prejudices, that clouds their vision."
Thank you, Pankaj, for this insightful post. You hit the nail on the head. Prejudices blind us to everything good within us and outside us. Blinding prejudices. Hate inspiring prejudices. Arrogant prejudices. Obsessive prejudices.
They dehumanize people and make them forget who they are. God decided to make this fantastic specimen, the human being, and then played mischief. He gave him an ego as a huge obstacle which would actually make the human feel good on the surface, so much so that it would ultimately camouflage the real pitfalls.
On the other hand, the soul which humans are meant to seek was embedded within each human but man would seek only what he can see outside of him with his eyes. The inner eye was disabled by the ego.
…and so, man is overpowered and misled constantly by his own sense of self importance and a lack of cognizance and understanding of his inner world. He revels in artificial light and rejoices in the myth that it is real light.

Sense of excitement

Life does not give prior warnings. There are no re tests. There is no fast forward or rewind. We just have to make sense of what works for us with a bit of trial and error. But that is the fun of life as well...an adventure into the unknown...
It can also be a source of stress if not treated as an adventure. But come on… what is there to lose ultimately? Only what WE hold on to, right? If we just dropped things that we carried, it would be great. And we would experience freedom.
I have found that things I was so stuck on for a long time were actually trivial, though, as per current perceptions. But that's fine. This is what moving on means.
I believe that so much is changing in the external environment today because somewhere, humans are beginning to raise their vibrations. They have been creatures of low energy so far, their energies constantly being depleted and sacrificed to petty thoughts....not adhering to the universal principles or the spiritual ways of living. We have paid a heavy price. No more.
There is a new phase opening up. A better and hopefully, higher way of life. If you notice, several spiritual groups are meditating for world peace all over the world. The good news is, youngsters are joining in. The kids being born today are reflecting the phenomenon of the elevating vibrations of young parents. These kids are incredible.
We are gradually and surely moving into a new world where there is a sense of excitement, a hope and a proactive projection into the future. Where nothing less than merit, ethics and honesty shall prevail.
